The creative self workshop at St Margaret’s House
Saturday 28 July, 2018 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm£35
The Creative Self Workshop at St Margaret’s House is an afternoon of yoga and meditation designed as a way to reconnect with your inner sense of beauty and restoration.
The workshop starts with a flow of Chakra opening Yoga to ignite the flame, Gong Meditation to unlock our motivations and inspire and ends with mindful art exploration to allow your innate creativity to surface.
The teachers believe that delving into your own true creative self can feel inspirational and have a healing effect on the body and mind.
The workshop runs from 1.30 to 4.30pm and will be held in St Margaret’s House’s spacious Mulberry Hall. During the workshop there will be light refreshments available. Alternatively there is an award winning café that provides low cost vegan dishes and a peaceful green garden to unwind in.
All materials and equipment will be supplied. However do feel free to bring your own yoga mat or art materials
The session is organised by Tonia Mee, who has studied Hatha yoga and meditation and teaches classes such as Vini, Yin, Restorative and Slow Flow yoga. It is also organised in collaboration with Yoganest, which provides low cost and accessible fitness to the local community.
You can find St Margaret’s House at 21 Old Ford Road, London E2 9PL.
