Humans of the Hospice book launch at St Joseph’s
Monday 18 June, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pmFree
Come and celebrate the launch of St Joseph’s Hospice new book, Humans of the Hospice, and exhibition of stories about their amazing volunteers.
Humans of the Hospice has been made by a group of volunteers, and captures in stories and photographs a whole range of people in the hospice: patients, volunteers and staff. The project is based on the famous Humans of New York blog.
The new book will celebrate their dedication to St Joseph’s, and people’s lives past and present. The evening will also be an opportunity to find out about volunteering with patients, families and carers, both at St Joseph’s and in the wider community.
St Joseph’s Hospice has been an essential part of the community since 1905, feeding starving people and helping hundreds of patients every year.
Now, the hospice supports people in north and east London with serious, life-limiting conditions. They also offer a wide range of support and services to families and carers.
There will be drinks and nibbles provided on the night.
