Saturday 10 September, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pmFree
Organic September ‘pops up’ in the heart of the East End with Soil Association’s autumn jamboree at Roman Road Yard Market.
Get your wicker baskets to the ready! On Saturday 10 September, thirty of the UK’s top organic food and drink producers along with organic beauty brands will give the Roman Road Yard Market an organic makeover.
The Soil Association will join forces with the brand new Roman Road Yard Market, which happens every Saturday in the car park of Roman Road and St Stephen’s Road. Featuring street food, live music, and a fantastic array of tasty organic food, people can get involved in the action from 10am to 4pm.
From organic artisan bread to gourmet coffee, flavourful fruit and veg to melt-in-your-mouth cheese, Londoners can taste the best of organic and discover green from the inside out with organic beauty and yoga workshops throughout the day. A fantastic array of organic brands will take part, including many winners and shortlisted nominees from the prestigious BOOM (Best of Organic Market) Awards, held in May.
Tideford Organics are one of the brands taking part. Passionate about making soups and sauces that contain ‘just the good stuff’, Tideford’s famous soup van will make an appearance, featuring the best of their award winning gluten, wheat and dairy free soups.
Other stall holders include; Clipper Teas, Percol (coffee), Kallo (rice cakes), Whole Earth, Organico Realfoods (Mediterranean fine food), Clear Spring (Japanese fine food), Isle of Wight Tomatoes, Coombe Farm Organic (meat), Lye Cross Farm (artisan cheese), Mr Organic (pasta/sauces), Therapi (beauty), YuYo (drinks), Coco loco (artisan chocolate), Organix (baby food), Eversfield Organic (meat), Westons Cider, Riverford (veg) and Zaytoun (luxury oils).
