V&A Museum of Childhood’s summer festival

The V&A Museum of Childhood’s annual summer festival is back with a mixture of colourful live entertainment, right on your doorstep.
The museum grounds will be filled with live music, dance and walkabout stalls. Guests will also have the chance to shop at designer stalls and food stands, including cakes and Middle Eastern and Asian snacks.
Appropriate for the whole family, there will be face painting, rickshaw rides and games.
PROGRAMME
10.30-11.30 ILA project, inside the Museum. Dive into a magical world of lines, connections and movement. ‘ILA project’ is an engaging, exploratory dance performance for young audiences with inquiring minds. With live music and an invitation to play and participate, this performance-workshop looks at what connects us to each other and the world around us.
11.30-12.15 One Jah (reggae band)
12.20-12.50 Community Music Band (Sophie Kilburn, a singer songwriter or Last Night’s Romance -young rising stars from Tower Hamlets)
12.50-13.20 Ian Marchant Juggler
13.30-14.00 CM Band (Sophie Kilburn or Last Nights Romance)
14.10-14.40 Praxis Bengali and Indian dance acts
