Supper club debating at the Tentacle Room
Saturday 23 June, 2018 @ 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm£42.51
Tentacle Room is bending the rules of fine dining supper clubs. On 23 June it will host a four-course meal, cocktails, wine and a side of debating.
The fine dining supper club will have a maximum of eight guests, split into pairs and assigned a random topic. Guests will then get a minute to lay out their case alongside drinks and a seasonal, no-expense spared dinner.
As more wine is poured and more plates arrive, the topics will get more absurd, ensuring the group walks away having met new people and having been down weird conversation wormholes. This is the perfect way to flex your intellectual muscles on a Saturday night.
Tentacle Room is a private dining room in Bow, decorated by interior designer, Emma Reese, and local street artist, Hatch. Your chef and host for the Debatable evening will be Cat Navarro, founder of Ready by 5 and a Michelin-trained chef. She has previously hosted dinners at local wine bar, Vinarius.
Guests will be served a welcome cocktail, and can also bring their own wine. The Debatable evening is one of Tentacle Room’s most popular and wacky events.
Navarro’s Tentacle Room aims not only to serve fantastic food, but also to push its diners out of their comfort zone. She organises quirky, intellectual events including truth or dare evenings, Ouija nights and the supper club version of a zombie apocalypse.
