Overlapping with Black History Month in 2018, the exhibition is being displayed in the Art Pavilion in Mile End Park for one month (before moving on to venues in Clapham and Brixton). Windrush: Portrait of a Generation is the latest, highly acclaimed, photo-story by award-winning social documentary photographer Jim Grover. For 12 months Jim spent time with the Caribbean community in South London, capturing the very distinctive ways in which the first generation of Caribbean migrants are living their lives, true to their culture and traditions.

Wednesdays-Sundays only

Transport: Mile End Tube Station; Buses: 25, 277, D6, D7

The exhibition will be on display as part of Tower Hamlets Council’s Black History Month programme and is also featured as part of this year’s Photomonth East London Photography Festival.
