The opening night of Find Your Eyes, by photographer Benji Reid, is on Wednesday, 4 June 2025, at Sadlers Wells East.
Find Your Eyes is a multidisciplinary performance that blends choreography, theatre, and photography, creating dynamic images in real-time before the audience. In this piece, conflict meets beauty, transforming the stage into Benji Reid’s studio.
Reid won the Wellcome Photography Prize 2020 Mental Health category with his photograph Holding on to Daddy (2016) He defines himself as a ‘choreo-photolist’, a term he coined to refer to the practice of combining theatre and choreography in his photography.
Reid’s Afro-futurist imagery reveals behind-the-scenes emotions exploring how people make sense of the world through stories and art.
