Spend your Saturday afternoon in Bow Arts’ covered courtyard with artist-duo, Kaleidoworks, who will help you and your family experiment with textiles and projections. Join artist in residence, Freya Gabie, to create a giant, architectural dancing weave at Bow Arts. The Raw Materials: Textiles resident artist will be running this free, drop-in workshop in the Victorian industrial courtyard. As part of the Raw Materials: Textiles series, join resident artist Sarah Desmarais for an indigo dyeing workshop. In the session you will print patterns on silk, cotton and linen, getting the chance to explore a fabric-painting method that is hundreds of years old and that has been sed across the world.
