Clarion Housing Group are set to demolish and redevelop Lemon Tree House on Bow Road with plans for 58 social rent homes.

Clarion Housing Group has signed a £21 million contract with Legendre UK for redevelopment works at Lemon Tree House on Bow Road, according to Construction Enquirer.

Lemon Tree House, a 7-storey building with 49 homes, is set to be demolished and replaced by a new, up-to-9-storey building.

The new development will include one, two, and three-bedroom apartments and the number of flats will increase to 58, all planned for social rent.

Tower Hamlets Council initially refused plans for the demolition of Lemon Tree House in October 2022.
