This interactive acting masterclass combines the thrill of acting with the social atmosphere of a gathering, offering a chance to step into the shoes of iconic Black characters. Mocktails and snacks will be provided.
WORKSHOP LEADS
Tyler Fayose is a British actor known for his work in film, television, and theatre. He has appeared in a variety of projects, including the popular BBC drama “Phoenix Rise,” the critically acclaimed Universal TV series “Departure,” and the ITVX hit “Riches.” Tyler has also graced the stage, performing at prestigious venues such as The Globe, Soho Theatre, and Stratford Theatre Royal.
Fayose’s journey into acting began at the age of 16 when he enrolled in a two-year BTEC Acting course at Peterborough Regional College. He later continued his training at the prestigious Italia Conti Acting Academy in London. Throughout his career, Fayose has demonstrated his versatility as an actor, taking on a wide range of roles and captivating audiences with his performances.
In addition to his acting work, Fayose is also passionate about giving back to his community. He is involved with various charities and organizations that support education, arts, and social justice.
Lauren Corah started her acting journey at age 14 with ‘Our Sister’, a BFI-funded short film which won numerous awards. Since then, she has starred in multiple award-winning short films and on the back of the film ‘Jackson’ she received a nomination for ‘best actor’ at ‘Underwire film festival’. As well as short films Lauren has starred in multiple other projects, her most notable, playing Summer Bailey in Phoenix Rise. A hit multiple award-winning BBC TV series with its fourth season coming out October 2024. Most recently Lauren has signed with Independent Talent Management which is known to be the biggest acting agency in Europe.
