Welcome to the Bàrd’s (loosely-bookish) pub quiz, held once a month at Bàrd Books, Roman Road. With a slant towards the world of books, this is NOT a high-brow literary quiz, although each round will have a brief nod towards our love of books. Previous rounds have included: ‘authors – dead or alive’, ‘the song, the film, the book’ and the ingenious ‘inspired by the booker prize book covers, the most random questions you’ll ever find in a pub quiz’.

With an intimate atmosphere and space for only 10 tables, our quiz is fully booked every month. so don’t hesitate to email us to book your table now.

The bookshop is open as normal from 9am with the bar ready for pre-quiz drinks and snacks from 6pm.

Max team sizes of 5 people with 2pounds entry per person. Respect to be gained. Prizes to be won.
