About event
Join us in welcoming the end of summer with a workshop tailored for homeschooling families. Our family photography course takes you to various London locations each week, including Poplar Union, Victoria Park, Regent’s Canal, Hackney City Farm, and Lee Valley.
This inclusive art project is focused on enhancing children’s environmental consciousness through the lens of photography. Using your own cameras, including smartphones, and our DSLR cameras, this course offers parents and children an opportunity to embark on an artistic journey, building both skills and confidence. Each session is designed to progressively develop photographic abilities in a fun and engaging way.
The workshop costs £3.96 for the whole family and covers all six sessions, which take place every Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30, with no commitment required; simply book the first session you’ll be attending.
Please note: Photographs of the children will be featured in a magazine and displayed at an exhibition at Poplar Union on 21 November.
About Pierre:
I am a photographer and workshop facilitator based in East London. I founded Mindful Photo Lab in 2020 to assist my community through the integration of photography and mindfulness. As a photographer deeply passionate about human resilience and compassion, I aid in finding solutions by conducting photography workshops. These workshops use photography to playfully explore the poetics of everyday life, transforming our fears and anxieties into sources of creativity and inspiration.
