Restless beings are presenting ‘The Freedom Anthologies’, a series of three short plays exploring the theme of freedom and independence.
The event will be held at the Brady Arts and Community Centre.
The first play focuses on a school setting and on Rohingya identity in the diaspora, the second explores the notion of nature in the expression of freedom, and the third and final play is a powerful short story of South Asian history.
Restless Beings is an international human rights organisation that focuses on promoting equality and human rights. They work especially closely with genocide victims, and in particular with the Rohingya community on whom this performance is centered.
