Event description
This photography exhibition is more than a statement of historical facts, or a story of stones, bricks and mortar that shaped today’s historical gem, hidden in the centre of Mile End in East London. For local residents this exhibition holds fond memories of good times past combined with access to original records of the building’s transformations through the centuries.
The HAC would like to welcome the public to remember Holy Trinity Church Bow as it embarks on its new and exciting journey of becoming an Arts, Heritage and Events Centre. On the 24th and 25th of July, charting the passage of history, the HAC is celebrating the beginning of a new era for this unique building.
Visitors will be offered a multisensory experience to discover the history and life of the building and the community gathered around it through a visual, oral and interactive journey. The public can connect with stories from rare personal pictures belonging to residents in the area whose families’ history interweaves with the life of the space.
