Inside Giovanni’s Room at Sadler’s Wells East

Sadler’s Wells East is one of the exciting new venues in the East Bank Cultural Quarter opened earlier this year. Over 100 years after James Baldwin’s birth, choreographer Marcus Jarrell Willis brings Baldwin’s 1956 novel Giovanni’s Room to the dance stage, exploring themes of love, sexuality, guilt, and self-acceptance.
