We welcome the Andean Afro Latin fusion band, Lokandes to Grow on Feb 5!
Their name is the combination of two words: Crazy and Andes which means making unconventional and alternative music with the Andean instruments and bringing it up to date making a fusion of traditional roots and Afro- rhythms with other contemporary genres such as Reggae, Cumbia, Ska, Jazz, Son, Rumba Folk and funky Latin rhythms.
The band has united musicians and instruments from Panama, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Cuba & Canaries Island and setting their highly original music, alongside socially conscious lyrics and a super-tight rhythm section bringing awareness to Latin-American and worldwide cultures with their music.
