Join Sophia in the Chapel for a nourishing evening of reflection, meditation, and movement. In the Five Element Theory, Water is the element of Winter – the qualities of water; deep listening, soft strength, receptivity, and yielding, will inform our practice and reflections and aid us in finding stillness through movement and movement within stillness, as we nourish our capacity to slow down and rest.
Expect guided meditation, and movement practices inspired by the water element, to cultivate a downward flow of energy and inward attention, and to help guide our bodies into a restful space, where we practice receiving rest and support through our mind, body and spirit. No movement experience is needed.
Please wear comfy warm clothes and something to write reflections in such as a journal or paper and pen.
