About event
The opening night of R.O.S.E, an immersive dance performance is on Thursday 10 July 2025, at Sadlers Wells East, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Award-winning choreographer Sharon Eyal and long-term collaborator Gai Behar join London-based music and arts organisation Young for a night of club culture, dance and new music.
Eyal and Behar co-founded L-E-V an Israeli dance and spectacle ensemble company that performs around the world mixing electronic music, techno and fashion into their work. Eyal is also a Sadler’s Wells Associate Artist.
R.O.S.E will dissolve the boundaries between stage, dancer and spectator with the auditorium seats pushed away inviting audiences to experience dance in its rawest form.
Watch, dance and come together on the dance floor. In R.O.S.E, Eyal’s choreography will combine the freedom, energy and intimacy of club culture with the up-close nature of the performance.
Situated in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the new Sadlers Wells East will open in February 2025. It will form part of the East Bank, the cultural and educational quarter in East London. The opening season will feature over 20 productions ranging from ballet to hip hop, to dance theatre, vogue and Bharatanatyam.
The new space will house a 550-seat theatre, a choreographic centre, a hip-hop theatre academy and a flexible auditorium that will transform into various settings providing an immersive experience.
R.O.S.E is recommended for ages 14+, under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Doors open for R.O.S.E at 8 pm on Thursday 10 July 2015 and will run till Sunday 13 July at Sadlers Wells East.
