The Stage, a landmark development in the heart of Shoreditch, has brought Shakespeare’s timeless world to life by unveiling a series of stunning window displays showing scenes from the iconic play ‘The Winter’s Tale’, created in partnership with Global Street Art.
The window installations titled ‘The Stage Is Set: Winter’s Ethereal Glow’ at The Stage now bring Shakespeare’s timeless world to life, creating a modern connection to the past.
The Stage is built on the site of the once-famous Curtain Theatre, renowned as one of the earliest playhouses in London and a key venue where Shakespeare’s plays were first performed. Its unique role in the development of English theatre cemented its place in history.
The highly anticipated opening of the immersive ‘Museum of Shakespeare’ curated by Bompas & Parr will open in 2025 set within the archaeological remains of the Curtain playhouse at The Stage.
The installations are now open for full public viewing at The Stage Marketing Suite, 22 Hewett St, London EC2A 3NL and will be displayed until early 2025.
