SCT Eras Charity Shop Walking Tour

Join us for a tour through the heart of East London as we guide you round some of Spitalfields Crypt Trust’s (SCT) most fabulous charity shops. For 60 years, the charity has enabled people to find a life beyond homelessness and addiction, and to mark our anniversary, we’re celebrating all the eras SCT shops have seen from 1965 to now.

SCT’s very own Ms Amber Guity will take you through the ‘eras’ as fashion mogul and soprano superstar Taylor Thrift. You’ll be provided with multiple channel headsets where you can listen to the ultimate Taylor Swift playlist, or some 70s or 90s hits if that’s more your speed.

We’ll start at our Bethnal Green shop, taking you through Aldgate East and down Brick Lane to our social enterprise Paper & Cup in Shoreditch for a free coffee, ending in our newest shop in Hoxton. If anything spots your eye whilst you’re on the tour, your ticket entitles you to 25% off anything in our shops, so make sure you bring a bag – you won’t want to miss these deals! Each shop will be designed in the style of a different era, and Taylor Thrift will host games of the time for your chance to win some extra bonus goodies.
