Harking back to our Scottish roots (for those of you who don’t know, the Bàrd was the original storyteller), we’re coming together to honour the absolute original bard, the one and only Rabbie Burns.
Celebrated each year on or around his birthday on 25th January, a Burns Night traditionally sees a sharing of poems and songs by the bard, as well as sharing of a meal – the haggis!
Keeping as close to tradition as possible, we’ll be joined by some of our regulars to address the haggis, and toast both the lads and lassies, with open slots for anyone who’d love to recite a poem or song! And for those of you more interested in the social element, tickets include a haggis bap (or roll if you’re not from north of the M25) and a dram (drink) of whisky to pipe in the haggis!
Come along, relax and take in the Scottish banter.
Veggie/vegan haggis are available on request. Bookings must be confirmed in advance as our haggis comes all the way from bonnie Scotland!
