Event description
The Health Tree is a new wellbeing project launching at St Margaret’s House on May 17th 2021.
Inspired by the branches and roots of a tree, the project reflects a holistic approach to health that recognises that in order for us to grow tall, we also have to build strong roots. This feels especially important as we emerge and continue to manage a new way of life, in light of the pandemic.
The Health Tree project is offering a range of classes from Yoga, to T’ai Chi and HIIT to Pilates, as well as treatments such as community acupuncture and massage. The project was thrilled to receive funding from the Thriving Communities fund and St Margaret’s House continues to make wellbeing activities and treatments affordable and accessible to all.
The project is working closely with social prescribing networks to feed into a new national approach, recognising that health really is inseparable from social, mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.
