Description
Bàrd Books is part bookshop, part cafe, part creative space of locals to appreciate all forms of the arts. Open daily (except Mondays) for book browsing and coffee drinking, with fantastic Extract coffee and delicious pastries from the Snapery East. Our back room with its selection of creative and arts books is the perfect space to get some vital work done (free wifi!) whilst admiring the rolling art exhibitions by local artists, before rolling into evening when the lights dim with wine, a small snacks menu (think olives, chorizo snacks, mackerel pate) and perhaps the only bookshop in the world to have a spiced margaritas on tap!
Our late nights are Wednesday through Friday, with a burgeoning events programme including author events, book clubs and poetry readings, among other events.
