So sad to hear of Chun’s passing, we always wondered why his shop was closed for so many years, and would always hope one day it would open again whenever we were passing by.

My family’s been going to Welcome Friends since the early 2000’s. We would always order the same food, and Chun would give us free prawn crackers. He knew our order so well, that he named it after my dad the Abdu special. We haven’t found anything that’s come close to his food. Will forever crave that special dish. RIP Chun
