Banner Making Workshop at Bow Arts Courtyard

Join Bow Open artist Marcus Orlandi at Bow Arts Courtyard on Saturday 13 November for a fabric banner-making workshop, and a chance to immortalise your thoughts, ideas, and words of protest in stitch.

Orlandi’s banners have been causing a stir in Bow for years, from his Nobody Likes the Archers banner which hung over the Nunnery’s alleyway for the 2017 Bow Open, to his East London Group Commission banner CTRL ALT DEL which hung outside the Bow Bells pub on Bow Road.

He has also created banners for Estuary Festival 2021, The Cartoon Museum, Ty Pawb in North Wales and for the Becontree Estate in Dagenham. Orlandi’s banner WE WANT PRE 2008 LEVELS OF CHAOS is in the 2021 Bow Open Show.
