Job description
We are on the lookout for an outstanding Executive Chef to lead our culinary ventures across two unique settings: a sustainable, 2AA rosette floating restaurant and a riverside street kitchen nestled within its adjoining gardens.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be entrusted with shaping the culinary identity of these distinct environments, where innovation and sustainability are core principles.
Your role will involve creating menus that embrace the seasons, showcase local resources, and reflect our unwavering commitment to sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee operations across three kitchens and two distinct food offerings.
- Lead a dynamic culinary team, setting and maintaining high standards of excellence.
- Plan budgets and finances for the kitchen.
- Develop recipes and menus inline with target GPs and labour percentages.
- Set kitchen policies, processes and procedures together with the Head Chef.
- Oversee health and safety and food safety across all kitchens
- Scheduling of team.
- Organising, employing, training and motivating staff both back of house and front of house
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Previous proven experience in a 2AA Rosette or higher-rated establishment
- A passionate commitment to creating innovative and seasonal dishes.
- Enthusiastic and quick-thinking, thriving in a dynamic, multifaceted culinary environment.
- Collaborates effectively, has strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrates strong business acumen
- Excels at project management and is organised
