Altea will be performing at Jungle Electric on Friday, May 5th.
After years of classical cello training and significant involvement in youth orchestra programs (as well as a psychology bachelor somewhere in between), Altea began exploring new ways of learning in 2017. She has developed a unique, personal use for both her instrument and voice. She likes to braid cello and voice together, sometimes starting from a traditional tune, or an image or concept, other times improvising both parts from bare emotion and seeing what happens.
