Art workshop with Gina Southgate at Grow, Hackney

Grow, Hackney are hosting an art workshop with artist Gina Southgate, followed by a meal on Monday 14 March.

Tickets cost £5 per person

Join renowned painter of jazz musicians, Gina Southgate, for an evening introducing you to monoprinting, printing and collage to demystify the build up of surface imagery. Also featuring Musician Alan Wilkinson playing his baritone sax and bass clarinet.

Materials Provided.

A healthy and nutritious vegan/veggie meal will also come as part of the evening where Gina will be joining you so you can follow up with questions to her and others at the event, including the Grow Team.

Over 2022, Grow, Hackney is hosting 10 workshops for Hackney residents to join makers, producers, musicians, artists and activists and participant in an introductory creative activity and enjoy a communal meal together.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK

You must live in Hackney and provide a Hackney postcode on booking

You must be over 18 years of age (please note: we operate a challenge 25 policy if you wish to buy alcohol)

You will get a free vegan/veggie meal as part of the workshop

You will be able to buy drinks as part of workshop

Please check your email before leaving for this workshop in case there is a last-minute cancellation of the event
