Join us for our Summer Lecture Series on Barnardo’s East End.
Religious historian, W. M. Jacob, will explore Barnardo and the Evangelical faith that motivated him.
Bill Jacob has published several books and numerous articles about the social history of religion in England and Wales in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. His most recent book is Religious Vitality in Victorian London, (Oxford University Press, 2021).
