Bow Families: Making a Meal with Amy Leung

Bow Families is our series of free, drop-in, family art workshops that take place on the last Sunday of every month in the Bow Arts Courtyard.
What’s your favourite food? Where does it come from? Who does it remind you of? In this session, we’ll be exploring themes of food and belonging as we draw, collage, and build a meal together using a range of fun materials and textures.

Our Bow Families events are a wonderful opportunity for local families to get together and try something new! Each session is led by a Bow Arts artist, with all materials provided. This event is an inclusive friendly environment, accessible to all abilities and age groups.

More about Amy Leung

Amy Leung is a London-based artist working across sculpture, drawing and workshops to explore the articulation and communication of joy. As an arts educator, she is interested in the intersections in which community, craft, objects, and cultural identity meet. Material exploration and playing collaboratively are key to her practice, with ideas emerging through making together.

Amy has previously worked with schools, families, and communities on projects at Camden Art Centre, the RA, Towner Eastbourne, and SLG. She is currently studying for an MA Art and Design in Education at UCL.
