Bow Families: Puppet making with Julie Vermeille

For September’s Bow Families workshop, illustrator and art educator Julie Vermeille will be showing us how to make our very own 3-D string puppets out of coloured card.

To kick things off, Julie will be guiding us through the basic techniques of sketching, tracing, and cutting out shapes from coloured card. You’ll then have access to a range of coloured pens, pencils, pastels, charcoal, magazine, newspaper clippings, and other fun craft materials to decorate your puppets, before learning how to bring them to life by making them move.

This event is an inclusive, friendly environment which is accessible to all abilities and age groups.
