Event description
The Line will be delivering a BSL interpreted guided tour of the route at Greenwich Peninsula. Led by artist and facilitator Remiiya Badru, the tour will follow the Thames Path around The O2, taking in works by artists including Serge Attukwei Clottey, Antony Gormley and Gary Hume. If coinciding with low tide, there will also be an opportunity to explore the river bank, drawing on Remiiya’s experience in mudlarking in the area.
The tour will start at 12pm at The O2 exit of North Greenwich station (Jubilee line – 22 minutes from Baker Street) and BSL interpretation will be available throughout. There will also be an opportunity to join a mask masking workshop at Greenwich Peninsula as part of Totally Thames Festival, inspired by the work of Serge Attukwei Clottey. BSL interpretation will be available at the workshop from 3-5pm.
Please note that photography will be taking place at this event. Please contact a member of The Line team if you do not wish to be photographed.
