Event description
Bow residents are invited to attend an online community workshop, led by Liveable Streets, providing a space for locals to comment on neighbourhood plans.
The Liveable Streets programme aims to improve the look and feel of public spaces in neighbourhoods across the borough and make it easier, safer, and more convenient to get around by foot, bike and public transport. They also want to reduce people making ‘rat runs’ and shortcuts through residential streets to encourage more sustainable journeys and to improve air quality and road safety.
Following on from the consultation held in August, Liveable Streets are keen to continue their engagement with the community in Bow to make sure they have heard from as many residents as possible about their plans. They are particularly keen to hear the views of our Black, Asian and Minority residents.
You can register via the Eventbrite page. Upon registration, you will receive further details about how to join the session
18:00 – 19:30 – 27 October 2020

The consultation has taken place and Bow residents made it clear they do not want this scheme to be implemented.
A large amount of money has already been wasted on a disastrous trial, on dishonest consultations, aggressive propaganda, overpriced consultants. It is time to move on and invest in tackling poverty, sorting out crime and upkeep of the borough.
They’ve got to be joking.
Same day notice? You need FOUR WEEKS NOTICE for consultation to count legally.
Great to have further engagement on this – this has been well communicated since last summer, well publicised and hopefully will be well delivered!
No more rat runs!
