Featuring Conservatoire musicians and cross-genre group GOKUMI, this large interdisciplinary ensemble weaves together improvisation, global musical practices and storytelling.

Created by Joel Bell and co-directed by Bushra El-Turk, the Alternative Conservatoire is a three-month bespoke artist development accelerator course. Emerging composers are supported in developing their musical voice and exploring new ideas within a curated community of artists, musicians and mentors who think differently.
