Event description
Show and Tell is a series of inspiring talks hosted by BLOC, a new cinema and arts lab at Queen Mary University of London. Get a free copy of Radical Attention by Julia Bell for the first 40 attendees. We will discuss the book at our last Show and Tell of the Year on 9 April.
Line up for 12 March

Alice Jenkins-Bruce – Director of Communications at Sky
Heath Pennington – Intimacy Coordinator and Queen Mary PhD candidate

Featuring short and engaging talks from academic researchers, broadcasters, creative writers, and theatre practitioners, Show and Tell is a celebration of arts and humanities education and the creative industries for those interested in studying or working in literature, theatre, art, media, and culture more broadly.
The evening promises to be entertaining and relaxed. Speakers will each deliver a TED-style talk, which will be followed by a chance for guests to ask questions. The evening will end with socialising and networking over refreshments. We welcome school students, teachers, university students and applicants, and everyone else to come and hear what our speakers have to say.
This series of Show and Tell runs on:
14 November 2023
4 December 2023
22 January 2024
