The ornate and historic Shoreditch Town Hall is a beautiful live music venue for this uplifting community event, Grand Union Orchestra’s professional global musicians will be playing and supporting the community participants throughout the evening performing music from Tony Haynes’ extraordinary musical repertoire.
“Joyous! A celebration of humanity. Tony Haynes and multinational musicians bring music and rhythm from all over the globe to weave their magic. Songs of home, messages of heartbreak and hope. Improvisation and collaboration with love and respect. This is not just a fantastic evening of music. It’s a political statement about how rich life is when the people of our world come together. Big Band Jazz Orchestra with a huge heart!” (Audience member from the recent Hackney Empire 40th Anniversary show)
