Grow Tropical at Grow in Hackney Wick is on to celebrate International Women’s Month, with one of the top female Latin singers in London.
They will bring the vibes of Puerto Rico International Salsa day with a London twist. An expression that has gone around the world to become one of the most popular and most recognizable examples of Latin American and Caribbean music and dance.
Grow welcomes back Luz Elena Caicedo ft. Wil Sifontes’ Latin sound; Luz Elena from Cali, Colombia singer and co-leader of well-known band Conjunto Sabroso alongside Matices Latinos and Latin American choir, also the founder of Cimarron Festival a London celebration of African cultural legacy in Latin America.
She is one of London’s top Salsa and Tropical singers since 1995 bringing her charismatic and powerful voice over the years creating an international profile greatly enhanced by appearances in festivals all over the UK, Ireland, China, Kenya and Greece among others.
The band will perform from just before 10pm.
