Calling all spoken word poets, open mic-ers, and performers!
Join Heartspoken Word on the 3rd March in their latest offering on the poetry circuit: a casual, fun, and intimate open mic night centring on the theme of ‘integration’ and what it means to you.
This event is open to poets of all levels of experience – whether it’s your first time reading or you’re a seasoned pro – as well as to those who want to simply listen in and enjoy the performances. The evening will also feature readings from some familiar faces in London’s spoken word, poetry, and open mic scenes.
Heartspoken Word is an intimate spoken word, poetry, and open mic night founded by Maliha Haider, which first emerged at former social café, Ziferblat. A space where both established and amateur poets share the mic, Heartspoken Word’s nights allow readers and listeners to explore topics free from limitations or boundaries. Previous nights have centred on themes including exploration, impressions, healing, time of changes, as well as a special edition around city and nature which was held at an art installation at St Paul’s Cathedral as part of the London Architecture Festival in 2018.
