Four Corners’ Into Focus projects and RGB East are delighted to present a collaborative exhibition of experimental photo works and animations at Four Corners Gallery.

28th July – 7th August
Open 11am – 6pm, Tuesday-Saturday

This intergenerational project enabled twelve younger and older Tower Hamlets residents to produce traditional black and white and colour photographs, alongside inverted digital colour prints.

The process was supported by local artist Sarah Ainslie, plus artist Jo Guile and scientist Dr Emily Patterson who set up RGB East to engage East London communities in the exploration of colour concepts.

Into Focus from Four Corners

Free part-time course in photography   Open to Tower Hamlets residents aged 14–25 and over 50. Want to know more about photography and developing your own prints?  Into Focus is a free, part-time course exploring film photography. Collaborate with people from across Tower Hamlets to develop camera skills in just 12 weeks.
  • Learn about different camera techniques and get the chance to put these into practice in our professional photography studio
  • Experiment with printing methods in the Four Corners’ darkroom
  • Explore Tower Hamlets through local photography walks
  • Showcase your work online and/or at Four Corners’ Gallery (covid-permitting)
We’re open from 21st April 2021, but will continue to run online sessions if needed. All on-site practical workshops will be run safely according to Covid guidelines, with some additional sessions taking place online. To apply, please visit the website for more info.
