Event description
Synonymous with the East End, Rinkoff has been selling its beigels and bread to East Enders for over 100 years. But do you know much about its history?
Join Esther Rinkoff on Saturday 3 September to talk about the history of Rinkoffs, from its establishment in 1911 to the treasured family-run business based in the heart of London’s East End that many of us know today.
It has been producing speciality bread cakes and rolls for over a century ranging from traditional challah breads, sourdoughs, cheesecakes, croissants, and Danish pastries to their famous Crodough’s.
Historical materials will accompany the talk on the Jewish East End from the Tower Hamlets Local History Library & Archives.
