A local collective of musicians hailing from all over the world come to Grow for a night of roots reggae, dub and steppers, bringing people together from all nations to share and get down together.
Roots music, dub, or reggae is not just a musical niche for them; it is a culture and a way of life. The sound system met in Kingsland, Dalston through music and friends, they share a consciousness that can connect all people together to enjoy a positive energy. A community driven musical movement in the purest of senses.
Their sessions feature live MC, singers, guest selectors and players of instruments. In the past, they have worked with artists such as Channel One Sound system, Mafia and Fluxy, Dub Colossus, Finley Quaye, Warrior Queen, Tippa Irie, Gappy Ranks, Levi Roots, Alan Weekes, Vibronics, Jah Youth, Twinkle Brothers, Massive International, NTS Radio, Womad Festival, One Love Festival.
They will be bringing a truly local sound to Grow. Expect to hear roots reggae with a local flavour.
Free Entry before 9pm. £5 entry after 9pm.
This event is indoors, with hand sanitiser on the door and covid air purifiers.
Food & Drink
Our Spice Trail Menu is predominantly plant based, with some ethically sourced meat options, as part of our conscious drive towards sustainability.
With our drinks, we partner with breweries St Austell and Signature Brew for our lagers and IPAs and serve organic wine and prosecco which help international wildlife charity, Born Free.
