LGBTQ+ Community Forum in Tower Hamlets

LGBTQ+ members who live, study, or work in Tower Hamlets can come to this month’s forum.

The forum is a project with the aim of listening to the LGBTQ+ community on their issues within the borough. Members can also socialise and connect with other people from the community. The January meeting will include speakers from Tower Hamlet’s Mind’s new service–Safe Connections.

The forum encourages people to share their thoughts and opinions on key issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community’s mental health. The meeting will also discuss suicide prevention and what can be improved.

Allies of the community are encouraged to attend these free monthly meetings. Forum members receive a monthly newsletter updating them on LGBTQ+ news, events, and opportunities to get involved with the local community.
