Event description
To commemorate the 75th anniversary of Windrush, Shilonite Simon-Mathurin’s project Living Legacies will be presented at Poplar Union from 2nd October until 26th November.
The exhibition will showcase work documenting and exploring the stories of individuals from the 1st and 2nd Windrush generations.
In partnership with Tower Hamlets Council, the project aims to create conversation. It looks at connections around the impacts and experiences of migration. It also highlights the continuation of the legacies of those before us.
