Event description
To kick off Black History Month, Fragments Festival and Prism of Black launch ‘Manhood Through the Generations: A Black Experience’, a curation of short films and introspective panels held at Genesis Cinema in Mile End on the 1st of October.
A line-up of captivating guest-programmed shorts and thoughtfully considered panels will delve into themes relating to masculinity, relationships, vulnerability, pride, violence, and the art of communication. After the screenings, there will be food and mingling in Bar Paragon.
The event will showcase the directorial works of Chimaobim Nathan, Shehroze Khan and Timi Akindele-Ajani.
Tickets are available on the Tower Hamlets event page, with an allocation of free tickets for Tower Hamlets residents.
