Event description
Gather again with old and new friends and to share joy, melancholy, and passion in music.
Humble settings are, perhaps, best suited to release the piercing power of music. There is some mystery in the way the peeling walls of the quirky Ragged School Museum provoke the most intense and uninhibited music-making.
The 3rd Ragged Music Festival offers a range of classical music, from Schubert to Brahms to Stravinsky. In just a few years of its existence the Festival has gained strong following both among connoisseurs as well as those seeking alternative to formality of traditional concert settings. As casual as it is, it has become a platform for some of the most serious and devoted music making one may witness in London, by some of the world’s finest musicians of all generations.
Following the Covid-19 crisis, the programme, with its striking extremes, has been created to contemplate and leave behind this dismal period.
