Shedding Histories with Donna Leake at Grow

Shedding Histories’ upcoming party at Grow on Friday 26 May 2023 features the renowned selector and broadcaster Donna Leake, as supported by Edna aka Goat Girl

Donna is one of London’s most exciting and versatile DJs. She is known for her underground and left-field selections from across the musical spectrum, from jazz to psychedelia to Afro-funk. She joins Shedding Histories on the back of numerous headline shows and a recent warm-up set for legendary hip-hop artist Madlib. To see her do her thing on Grow’s intimate and open dancefloor will be an absolute privilege.

Warming up the terrace will be the always groovy Edna- musician, selector and community devotee. Never ruling out a particular genre, her selections are rooted in groove, covering hip-hop, dub, reggae, funk and jazz. Edna is a Brixton Radio Resident.

As always, these guests will be joined by Shedding Histories curators and residents Bena and Chameleonas, whose broad selections of sounds from across the globe always keep the dancefloor moving.
