Event description
Come along to a festival of music, voices and stories of home curated by Soumik Datta Arts.
Witness seven migrant and refugee artists as they weave music, dance and film to address themes of home, displacement and migration.
After two weeks in residence, living and working as a team, this event marks the first sharing of The Green Room Collective’s collaboration. Experience a powerful synthesis of strings, movement and spoken word!
From Iran to Palestine and Ukraine to Venezuela, The Collective is a celebration of diversity, a dialogue of difference, and a tribute to resilience.
With a series of talks and discussions during the day, the evening will culminate in The Green Room Collective’s landmark performance. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking and inspiring event.
Produced by Soumik Datta Arts and supported by Arts Council England, Aga Khan Foundation, Hawkwood Centre for Future Thinking, Counterpoints Arts and Good Chance Theatre.
