Event description
The London edition of the Balloon Museum, with its exhibition entitled EmotionAir, has opened at Old Billingsgate featuring innovative air-based works from 20 artists.
EmotionAir will explore the relationship between art and emotions through the captivating medium of inflatable art, offering a multisensory experience that balances the lightness of inflatable works with the complexity of human feelings.
The display, running until Sunday 18 February, will be a mixture of new works and installations seen in other cities, including large pink rabbits, sound trapped in floating bubbles and immersive kinetic installations.
Before arriving in London in December, the Balloon Museum was showing in Naples and New York after travelling worldwide through Paris, Rome, Milan and Madrid, impressing over two million people.
The Balloon Museum is the world’s first inflatable art museum. Spectators are invited to play, touch, and immerse themselves in atmospheres with hypnotic visual effects.
