Event description
The Big C-omedy Night at Hackney Empire is a night of belly-laughs from some of the biggest names in comedy, all in aid of the breast cancer unit at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Essex.
The line-up includes comedian, activist, and shredder of £10k Joe Lycett, as well as Kerry Godliman, best known for her role in After Life, Phil Wang, known for his Netflix special, Philly Philly, Wang Wang and his stint on Taskmaster, Fern Brady, the hilarious Scottish comedian and author of Strong Female Character and Jamali Maddix, who you’ll recognise from a whole host of shows such as Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Would I Lie To You, 8 Out Of 10 Cats does Countdown and Taskmaster.
Your MC for the night is Fin Taylor, described as “Gleefuly provocative and packed with big, hard laughs” by The Guardian. The perfect host ready to kick off the night with roaring laughter and keep the acts coming throughout.
