Event description
As part of Refugee Week, Four Corners is teaming up with Insiders/Outsiders Festival and the Association of Jewish Refugees to showcase the film The View from Our House followed by a Q&A.
This film will be available to view online for free between 15 June – 19 June. There will then be a Q&A held on Zoom with directors Anthea Kennedy and Ian Wiblin on the 19 June.
The View from Our House follows an unseen woman who witnesses the ordinary oppression and fear of the early years of National Socialism. The film is based on the memories, unsent letters and notebooks of young photographer Erika Koch. Aspects of her life are mapped out within the small area of Berlin-Tempelhof where she lived through haunted images and sounds that imbue place with a sense of memory and history. The film is 76 minutes long.
You must register before. Head over to Four Corners’ website and click ‘Register Here’ to sign up for free in advance.
